What's excluded
- •OTC / pink-sheet and micro-cap securities under ~$50M market cap — quotes are unreliable and manipulation-prone.
- •Options, futures, warrants and leveraged ETPs — not research instruments (filtered out of search).
- •Crypto-equity pairs — outside the equity-research scope.
- •Private companies with no secondary-market price — surfaced in the Pre-IPO view only, with the valuation source shown.
Known limitations
- •Fundamentals lag the filing date: a 10-Q lands, then FMP ingests it. A figure can be up to one quarter behind; the as-of line on every panel shows exactly when it was captured.
- •Some fields are not supplied by our providers — e.g. JPMorgan free cash flow is unavailable from FMP, so its FCF yield renders as an em dash rather than a fabricated number.
- •AI forecasts and the Compass score are derived, not reported. Their derivation is shown in every hover panel, and they are graded by the calibration loop (see Methodology).
- •News providers occasionally return older items under a 'latest' query; items older than 48 hours are flagged stale.
